Alligare Argos Herbicide is an excellent defense against a wide range of algae. Contains copper ethanolamine which is highly effective in preventing the precipitation of copper in water. It targets and controls planktonic, filamentous, and benthic types of algae. Alligare Argos Algaecide and Herbicide is specially formulated with a liquid copper-based formula, making it effective even in a wide range of water quality conditions. Controls algae such as golden algae, green algae, Cladophora, Cyanobacteria, Chara, Nitella, Rhizoclonium, and Spirogyra. It is proven to be long-lasting with 24 to 48 hours of control of planktonic algae and 3 to 4 days control of filamentous algae. May be used in ponds, lakes, fish hatcheries, drainage ditches, potable water reservoirs, and irrigation canals. It is a contact mode of action type of herbicide plus, it is also effective on Hydrilla especially when used with Diquat Herbicide. Available in a one gallon container jug.
